LANCASTER, Pa. — One person was injured in a stabbing in Lancaster, according to the Lancaster Bureau of Police.
Officers say the incident occurred last night around 9:40 p.m. Police were dispatched to the intersection of North Queen Street and West Chestnut Street for reports of an assault. Witnesses allegedly told officers that a man was attempting to stab and beat a woman with a knife.
Victor Sanchez was identified as the suspect and taken into custody, according to police. The victim suffered a slash wound on her face.
Sanchez was charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
