16-year-old arrested after allegedly stabbing teen during fight in Red Lion

RED LION, Pa. — A 16-year-old will be charged as an adult for stabbing a 17-year-old in Red Lion.

Pennsylvania State Police say the stabbing occurred on the 200 block of West Broadway in Red Lion around 7:04 p.m. on Oct. 24 while the boys were involved in a physical fight. Isaac Blinke, 16, is accused of stabbing a 17-year-old in the torso.

Surveillance video from the area allegedly corroborated the victim's statements to police. When troopers arrested Blinke at his home, they allegedly found a small knife and a small amount of marijuana on him.

PSP and the York County District Attorney’s Office decided that Blinke will faces charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a small amount of marijuana as an adult.

He was scheduled to be arraigned this morning. Court documents show that Blinke is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 8 and his bail was denied due to the defendant being a threat to the safety of the public and a flight risk.
