CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Two men are wanted for their alleged role in burglaries across businesses in York and Cumberland Counties.

Jean-Luc Moll, 34, and Michael Mercier, 34, are facing burglary, criminal trespassing and theft by unlawful taking charges for their alleged role in the series of break-ins.

According to the Lower Allen Township Police Department, on Dec. 19, 2022, at 7:30 p.m., the two men attempted to break into a vending machine at 5016 Simpson Ferry Road, using a pry bar.

The men then reportedly attempted to enter the business by breaking into a maintenance door before being scared off by a customer entering the parking lot.

Between Feb. 2-10, 2023, three additional burglaries were reported in surrounding jurisdictions, all involving two men prying into closed pizza shops.

On Feb. 10 at 10:19 a.m., the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to 301 S. 18th Street in Camp Hill for a non-active burglary; surveillance footage allegedly showed two men entering the business and stealing two cash registers.

Several pizza shop robberies followed in Cumberland and York Counties with similar suspects, according to the Upper Allen Township Police Department.

Based on the descriptions of the men and captured video surveillance the suspects were identified as Moll and Mercier.

Warrants have been issued for their arrests.
