YORK, Pa. — A York County man will serve up to eight years in prison for cocaine trafficking, U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam announced on Monday.
Terry Clark, 59, was sentenced last week by U.S. District Court Judge Jennifer P. Wilson to 96 months in prison after being found guilty of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
During a 2021 traffic stop in York, Karam said, Clark was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, two cell phones, a digital scale and just over $18,000 in cash. Clark admitted that the money came from drug sales, according to Karam.
Two weeks later, Clark was stopped by police a second time, and once again was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana. Police executed a search warrant on Clark's home and found additional crack cocaine, fentanyl, another digital scale, and a stun gun.
In all, Clark was found to be in possession of 398 grams of crack cocaine, 27 grams of marijuana, and 8 grams of fentanyl, according to Karam.
The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the York County Drug Task Force.
