Franklin County TikTok teen realtor puts unique spin on showing homes

The viral “Speed Tours” has garnered Miller many views, followers, and potential sales on TikTok and other platforms.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Trent Miller, a 19-year-old realtor from Greencastle, has been putting a new spin on showing homes to future homeowners.

The viral “Speed Tours” has garnered Miller many views, followers, and potential sales on TikTok and other social media platforms.

Miller, who has been in real estate for under a year, said that this new approach could change the industry.

“I like keeping it lighthearted and making funny jokes that keep people entertained but also make them laugh, which ties in the process of marketing the whole property,” said Miller.

Miller sought inspiration in becoming a realtor from Grant Cardone and attended some of his conferences. At 18, his goal is to invest in multi-family real estate, but he decided to become a realtor to make connections and put himself out there and not allow age his age to stop him.

“I put in a lot of work and I know it’s something that I worked hard for so I definitely think that I’m an appropriate age to be able to handle the situation,” said Miller.

The viral videos consist of Miller running through the homes showing various features, sitting on toilets backward, and doing a trending pose called “pose28” which comes from the game ROBLOX.

Miller said the idea was a collaboration with Trey Guess, another realtor based in Texas, to grow their platforms and market to more people. Miller also works with Gunner Moser, his best friend of 7 years, to shoot, edit, and create more content.

“You don’t really see real estate agents running around houses, recording videos, sitting on the toilet backward, hitting pose28 backward-- it’s something new and I was all for it,” said Moser.

Miller also provides advice for future homeowners and young realtors who want to get into the industry on his page. Miller believes by continuing to market his platforms, sell homes, and educate others, that the younger generations will enter into the industry.

“As far as the younger generation, you can do whatever just make sure you put your mind to it, put in the reps, if you outwork anyone don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not old enough, that you don’t know enough, put in the work and you can get to where you want to go,” said Miller.
