Free vaccinations available for Dauphin County residents, Walmart gift card offered

All ages are eligible for the vaccinations, though older people, those with disabilities and those from lower-income areas are strongly encouraged to participate.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Dauphin County Commissioners and their Area Agency on Aging are offering free vaccination clinics to protect RSV, flu, pneumonia, shingles and COVID-19. 

No appointments are necessary and residents are asked to bring their insurance cards. 

A Walmart gift card incentive will be provided, according to officials.

All ages are eligible for the vaccinations but older people, those with disabilities and those from lower-income areas are strongly encouraged to take part. 

The clinics are available in partnership with the Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania and will be held throughout the county as follows: 

  • March 15, Millersburg Senior Center, 9 - 11 am, 109 Edward Dr., Millersburg 

  • March 20, Heinz-Menaker Senior Center, 10 - noon, 1824 N. 4th St., Harrisburg  

  • March 21, Northern Dauphin Human Services Center, 9:30 – 11:30 am, 295 State Drive, Elizabethville 

  • March 25, Hoy Towers, 9 - 11 am, 1 - 3 pm, 301 Mohn Street, Steelton 

  • March 27, Latsha Towers, 9 - 11 am, 1 - 3 pm, 501 Mohn Street, Steelton 

  • April 1, Bistline House, 9 - 11 am, 1 - 3 pm, 1291 S. 28th Street, Harrisburg
