97-year-old reportedly struck, killed while walking dog in Lititz

Clinton Rohrer, 97, from Lititiz, was found on the side of the roadway at 8:25 a.m. on July 7, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County man was pronounced dead after he was reportedly struck by a car while out walking his dog. 

Clinton Rohrer, 97, from Lititz, was found on the side of the roadway at 8:25 a.m. on July 7, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office. 

At the scene, a deputy coroner pronounced Rohrer dead. An assessment at the scene revealed multiple blunt impact injuries. 

According to the coroner's office, a pedestrian reported that Rohrer had been struck by a vehicle. He was transported to the Lancaster County Forensic Center for further investigation. 

The cause and manner of death are pending at this time.
