GETTYSBURG, Pa. — An Adams County man is facing multiple charges after police say he threatened his former coworkers at a Gettysburg restaurant and damaged a police car during his arrest last week.
Manuel Keadle-Savoy, 22, was charged with several misdemeanors after the alleged incident, which occurred Nov. 16 at The Gettysburger, on the first block of Chambersburg Street.
Keadle-Savoy is a former employee at the establishment, according to Gettysburg Police.
The restaurant's manager contacted police when Keadle-Savoy arrived at the business and threatened to stab a former coworker, according to the criminal complaint affidavit filed by police.
Witnesses later told police that Keadle-Savoy entered the restaurant and walked into the kitchen, where he ignored several requests from employees to leave.
He allegedly asked to see the manager, threatening to assault her.
When another worker tried to intervene, Keadle-Savoy allegedly threw his shoe at them and threatened to cut them, reaching into his sweatshirt pocket as the worker attempted to escort him outside.
When police arrived, they found Keadle-Savoy on the phone with the manager, where he was heard again threatening to assault the worker who had escorted him outside. Keadle-Savoy allegedly hung up the phone when he saw the officer on the scene.
Keadle-Savoy allegedly returned to the restaurant about an hour later, where police say he caused a second disturbance.
As he left again, an agitated Keadle-Savoy allegedly struck the hood of a vehicle with his fist, witnesses reported.
When police returned, they found Keadle-Savoy across the street from The Gettysburger and placed him under arrest. At that point, he allegedly slammed his head onto the hood of a police vehicle, causing damage.
He was taken to Adams County Prison, where he is waiting for a preliminary hearing.
Keadle-Savoy is charged with terroristic threats, institutional vandalism, harassment, trespassing and disorderly conduct.
