Adams County Winery takes home top prize at 2024 Pennsylvania Wine Invitational

Founded in 1975, Adams County Winery is one of Pennsylvania's oldest wineries, offering a range of handcrafted wines that aim to capture the essence of the region.

ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — Adams County Winery was named Pennsylvania Winery of the Year at the 2024 Pennsylvania Wine Invitational! 

The event, held from Nov. 6 through Nov. 14, was hosted by the Libation magazine, one of the leading publications in the wine, beer and spirits lifestyle industry. 

Adams County Winery emerged as a top contender, taking home multiple prestigious awards. Their achievements include: 

  • Double Gold - Best in Class, Native American and Hybrid Wines: 2023 Vintage Roots 
  • Gold Medal Winner: 2023 Harvest Blend – Vintners Reserve 
  • Gold Medal Winner: 2023 Vintage Roots 
  • Silver Medal Winner: 2023 Tears of Gettysburg 
  • Silver Medal Winner: 2023 Stray Cat Strut

Founded in 1975, Adams County Winery is one of Pennsylvania's oldest wineries, offering a range of handcrafted wines that aim to capture the essence of the region. In 1988, Tears of Gettysburg was first bottled at the winery and- to this day- remains one of their most popular wines, as well as one of the oldest continually made wines in Pa.
