GETTYSBURG, Pa. — One person was killed in an overnight fire in Gettysburg and nine were displaced, according to the borough's police department.
Officials say the fire broke out around 3 a.m. on March 12 on West Middle Street.
Route 116 is closed in both directions between West Street and Baltimore Street/East Middle Street while firefighters work, according to 511PA.com.
The coroner and Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal are at the scene. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
