ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — Update, Dec. 26: The Adams County coroner's office has released the name of the York County woman killed in a crash on US Route 15 on Friday, December 22.
Sara Gifford, age 35, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at approximately 4:43 p.m.
An autopsy to determine the cause of death is ongoing.
Previously: All lanes were reportedly closed in Adams County following a fatal crash.
According to 511PA, the crash occurred along US 15 northbound between Exit: PA York Springs and Latimore Valley Road, Mountain Road.
According to Fritzi Scheffler with PennDOT, the crash was fatal. It is unclear at this time if there were any additional injuries.
All lanes were closed, but have since been reopened, according to 511PA.
