ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — A Gettysburg woman is dead after a 2-vehicle crash in Union Township on Thursday morning, police said.
Heather Peter, 35, the driver of a Dodge Caravan died after she crossed over the center line on Route 116 and struck an oncoming vehicle head-on, according to the police release.
Peter was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle that was struck was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, police said.
