New York resident charged with attempted sexual exploitation of Adams County minor

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A New York man has been charged with attempted sexual exploitation of an Adams County minor. 

The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Darnell Henry, 42, from the Bronx, was indicted by a federal grand jury for attempted sexual exploitation and enticement of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity. 

According to U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam, the indictment charges Henry with attempted sexual exploitation of a child from May 9 through May 25, 2024, in Adams County.

The indictment further charges Henry with enticement of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity between May and June. 

The maximum penalty upon conviction is life in prison, a lifetime term of supervised release following imprisonment, a fine, a statutory assessment and a special assessment.
