GETTYSBURG, Pa. — A fire in a Gettysburg building has left residents displaced.
According to the Gettysburg Fire Department, shortly after 1 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, Gettysburg Fire and mutual aid fire companies were dispatched to Carlisle Street for a fire.
The building was mixed-use, acting as a retail store on the ground floor and housing residents on the second and third floors. Crews on the scene confirmed all residents and occupants were evacuated from the building before attacking the fire.
As additional fire crews arrived, the fire was completely extinguished.
No injuries were reported by either occupants, residents or fire crews. Displaced residents have reportedly made plans to stay elsewhere.
The cause of the fire is currently undetermined.
