Adams County woman dies in overnight crash

ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — An Adams County woman died of injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash in Latimore Township, authorities said Monday.

Sierra Hockley, 25, of Carlisle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 2:36 a.m. on Carlisle Pike, according to State Police.

Authorities said Hockley's 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling north on Carlisle Pike when it left the roadway for unknown reasons, struck an embankment, rolled over and came to rest on its roof. 

Hockley was ejected during the crash, police said.

The Adams County Coroner's Office responded to the scene and determined Hockley died of multiple blunt-force injuries. Her manner of death was ruled accidental.
