Woman killed in Adams County car crash, infant passenger flown to Hershey Medical Center

ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a crash that killed one in Adams County.

According to PSP, on May 27 at 6:59 p.m., troopers were dispatched to Old Harrisburg Road at its intersection with Stong Jug Road in Straban Township for a crash involving a pick-up truck pulling a horse trailer and a sedan. 

At the scene, investigators pronounced 25-year-old Brianna Michelle Lucas, of Biglerville, dead. Her cause of death was ruled multiple blunt force injuries and the manner accidental.

Lucas' infant passenger appeared to be uninjured but was flown to Hershey Medical Center for further evaluation. 

The driver of the second vehicle involved was uninjured. 

Pennsylvania State Police in Adams County are investigating the crash.
