For most of these establishments, the only thing you'll need is a military ID.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Veteran's Day is rapidly approaching and, for those who served, there are plenty of deals to honor the brave. 

For most of these establishments, the only thing you'll need is a military ID. According to Military.com, here is a list of participating restaurants within the area. As more deals are announced and confirmed for 2023, they'll be added to the list:

  • Bob Evans: Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11. The offer is dine-in only.
  • Chili's: Veterans and active-duty service members get a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11 with proof of service. This offer is available for in-restaurant use only. 
  • Golden Corral: Golden Corral will host its yearly free "thank you" dinner on Military Appreciation Night on Monday, Nov. 13 from 5 p.m. to close. 
  • Hoss's: Veterans and active-duty military members receive a 20% discount on their meal and drink on Nov. 11. The offer is dine-in only and available all day. In addition, after dining at Hoss's on Nov. 11, veterans will be given a $10 off $40 voucher to use on their next visit. Vouchers are valid through Nov. 30 and will be available while supplies last. 
  • Mod Pizza: Mod Pizza is honoring those who served in the military with special savings this Veteran's Day. On Sunday, Nov. 11, veterans and active service members can visit their local MOD location and recieve a buy one MOD-size pizza or salad, get one MOD-size pizza or salad free deal. The offer is valid in-store with proof of military service at any of MOD's locations. 
  • National Civil War Museum: The museum will host its free community day on Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans Day. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature a variety of family-friendly activities.
  • Red Robin: Veterans and active-duty military members can get a complimentary Red's Big Tavern Burger on Nov. 11 with a valid ID. The offer is dine-in only and not valid for online or to-go orders. The free meal also comes with an endless side of steak fries! 
  • Red Rose Transit Authority (RRTA): Any veteran who shows a Lancaster County Veterans ID card to any RRTA driver will receive a free ride on Nov. 11
  • Sheetz: On Nov. 11, all veterans and active duty military personnel with valid ID or proof of service can enjoy a free meal and car wash at Sheetz. The meal includes a half turkey sub (with add-ons and extras) and a regular size fountain drink. The free car wash applies only to the $9 option and is only available at locations with a car wash.
  • Starbucks: The popular chain is honoring those who served with a free tall (12-ounce) hot or cold brewed coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses who visit participating stores on Nov. 11. 
  • Target: Target is offering a 10% military discount from Oct. 29 through Nov. 11 to all active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families. The discount can be used on two separate transactions and applies to all in-basket items, online and in-store. 
  • Walgreens: On Nov. 10 through the 13, veterans, active-duty military and families receive 20% off regular price eligible store items at any Walgreens drugstore nationwide. 
  • Wendy's: Restaurants owned and operated by Flynn Restaurant Group will say "Thank you" to all veterans and active-duty military by offering a free breakfast combo on Nov. 11. Those interested in cashing in on the deal must show a valid military ID proof of service.
