SHILLINGTON, Pa. — A Berks County man has been accused of raping two minor victims, prosecutors said Friday.
Janson G. Paz-Ocoha, 32, of Shillington, has been charged with rape, rape of a child, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault, indecent exposure, and corruption of minors following an investigation from detectives with the Berks County District Attorney's Office.
Authorities began investigating in April, when they received Childline Referral from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
The victims, a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl, accused Paz-Ochoa of raping them when they were younger at a home in Reading.
The 15-year-old victim said the sexual assaults occurred when she was between the ages of 11 and 12, authorities claim. The 17-year-old victim reported the sexual abuse occurred when she was 14 years old.
Over the course of the investigation, detectives found text messages between Paz-Ochoa and the 17-year-old victim. He allegedly sent the victim a photo of his genitals and requested she send him nude photos of herself in exchange.
Paz-Ochoa was taken into custody on Thursday, August 27 and arraigned one day later.
