SWATARA, Pa. — UPDATE (April 30): The Dauphin County Coroner's office said the body it recovered was a man that died of drowning.
The coroner's office says the man's manner of death is undetermined and the body is still pending indentification.
PREVIOUSLY: Swatara Township Police and the New Cumberland River Rescue have recovered a body from the Susquehanna River on Saturday morning.
According to Swatara police, they were dispatched around 7:25 a.m. after a body was discovered in the Susquehanna River near New Cumberland Borough.
The identity of the person pulled from the river remains unknown.
Swatara Police say they are working with the New Cumberland River Rescue, the New Cumberland Borough Police Department and the Dauphin County Coroner's office on the investigation.
