The campus of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster was evacuated Thursday morning while authorities investigate a bomb threat.
The college issued a Security Alert at 10:12 a.m., stating someone had emailed a threat to campus employees. As a precaution, the college said, everyone on campus was moved to safe sites.
Students and staff would be notified when it's safe to return, the alert concluded.
The incident is under investigation by F&M's Public Safety Department, along with Lancaster Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the school said.
No other information was immediately available.
