Carlisle Ford Nationals may be nearly five months away, but organizers are already gearing up for an all-new show this year.
Officials say there will be at least half a dozen themes represented in different buildings and under tents throughout the show.
One such display will be in Building T, where Mustangs will be in the spotlight. This display will celebrate history, with a focus on 50 years of Carlisle Events and 60 years of the Ford Mustang.
"This 60-year gallery will showcase some of THE BEST [Mustangs] produced and include some special guests along the way," organizers said in a press release.
Next door in Building Y, the annual Ford Nationals Select gallery will showcase 12-14 cars that are unique to the history of Ford.
The National Parts Depot Showfield will host four tent displays: a Y-Block reunion, an outdoor timeline display of the 60 Years of the Mustang, 40 years of the SVO and 50 years of the Mustang II.
Ford will also be back with its new vehicle showcase, vehicle walk-arounds and midway footprint. Attendees can also enjoy the downtown Carlisle Ford Parade and Street Party, the Mustang-themed Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation dinner, the automotive flea market, car corral and activities on and around the track.
Carlisle Ford Nationals is set to take place from May 31 - June 2 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds.
Organizers are accepting submissions for each display and the Showfield. Officials say the car does not have to be the best of the best to be displayed, but it must fit the theme under which it was submitted. Cars that do not fit any of the themes are welcome on the Showfield. Details on showing your vehicle can be found online.
Submissions will be open through at least the first quarter of 2024.
