It started with just 20 street performers and now, 30 years later, Cirque Du Soleil has grown into a major organization with more than 1,300 performers.
Over the years, they’ve brought their impressive acrobatic skills to more than 300 cities across the world and now they’re making a stop in Hershey.
Over the next few days, Varekai will be taking over the Giant Center.
Varekai tells the story of a young man who loses his ability to fly.
When he falls from the sky, he lands in a new extraordinary world filled with magical creatures.
Vanessa Napoli with Cirque Du Soleil says the high energy performance is not only entertaining but also delivers a strong personal message to audiences.
“It really tells you that you don’t need wings to fly and when you fall down you can stand back up tall with the love and support of your family or support system and that your journey continues,” Napoli said.
Varekai will be at the Giant Center Wednesday evening through Sunday evening.
