HARRISBURG, Pa. — The City of Harrisburg's Public Works Department announced that it is moving up the starting time for sanitation pick-up next week due to the impending heat wave in the forecast.
All next week, trash pickup will begin daily at 4 a.m., the Public Works Department said.
Trash and recycling collection will take place Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday, the department added.
There is no pickup Wednesday, as city offices are closed for Juneteenth.
