HARRISBURG, Pa.– Today marks the 38th anniversary of the Three Mile Island partial meltdown of the Unit 2 reactor.
It was what what the Nuclear Regulatory Commission called “the most serious accident in U.S. commercial nuclear power plant operating history.”
