UPDATE:
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Pa.– The Adams County coroner has released the name of the man found in the Conewago Creek on Sunday afternoon.
The body of 57-year old Michael Brown of New Oxford, was discovered in the water around 4:00 p.m. Coroner Pat Felix says some boaters made the discovery along Boy Scout Road in Hamilton Township.
An autopsy will be held on Tuesday morning. No foul play is suspected.
PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:
State Troopers from the Gettysburg barracks are on the scene where a body has been found.
The body was discovered in the Conewago Creek, off of Boy Scout Road in Hamilton Township near New Oxford on Sunday afternoon.
FOX43 is told the body is that of a man, however no other information is being released at this time. The county coroner is also at the scene, along with other police and fire department personnel.
