ELYSBURG, Pa.– A young boy is the victim of an apparent drowning at Knoebels Amusement Resort, in Northumberland County.
According to the resort’s website, the boy was found unresponsive by a lifeguard in the Crystal Pool around 3:00 p.m. Emergency care was immediately administered and the boy was taken to Geisinger Medical Center near Danville.
According to WNEP, the Locust Township police chief said the 8-year-old boy died at the medical center on Saturday evening.
