YORK COUNTY, Pa- Police in Dillsburg have arrested a motorists after they slammed into a house early Thursday morning and then drove away.
York County 911 said crews were called to the home, which is split into several apartments, along the 300 block of Harrisburg Pike in Dillsburg just before 5:00 a.m. Officials say the damage to the home was extensive.
Officials say the driver, who has been identified as 41-year-old Wendy Mixon-Seirer, was arrested a short distance away from the scene after officers spotted a vehicle with extensive front end damage.
No one inside of the home was injured.
The apartment owner said the vehicle hit his bedroom, but he was not in the room at the time.
The owner said despite the damage, it remains safe to stay inside the structure.
