HANOVER, Pa.–The York County coroner’s office says the autopsy has been conducted on 41-year-old Walter Seanor, but the results won’t be made public yet. Investigators are waiting on toxicology results, which they say can take up to six weeks to come back.
Seanor was found dead Thursday inside a room at the Hanover Hotel (formerly the Red Carpet Inn) located along the 1000 block of Carlisle Street in Hanover shortly before 7:30 a.m.
Authorities initially responded to the motel for a reported fire. Investigators found Seanor’s body inside the burned out room. He was currently living at the motel, according to the York County coroner’s office.
Police said there were no signs of foul play. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Anyone who may have witnessed the fire is asked to call Hanover Borough Police at 717-637-5575.
