SPRING GARDEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- While some people may have been sweating the snow and clearing out cars, kids were having fun sledding down the hill by York Suburban High School in Spring Garden Township.
It's a popular spot for kids to get their thrills, and they said the best part can be falling off. And the day off school isn't too shabby, either.
Matt Phillips, a sledder, said, "The snow here it just gets packed down a lot and slippery. And it's just fun to go down, and sometimes people make ramps and stuff if the snow is deep enough, and you can just launch yourself off a ramp and see how far you can go."
Sledders said it's good to take advantage of the snow now before it gets too icy.
