College students had the chance to get dressed up and hit the runway on Tuesday night. Central Penn College held a professional fashion show to benefit “Dress For Success.”

The non-profit provides job services and professional clothing to women. Students in the school’s “Fashion Analysis” class also held a clothing drive and raffle to benefit the group.

“They took on a greater role and responsibility and a lot of them really stepped up and said how can I help, and were excited about the project, really went out of their way to make this project a success,” says Rachel Gifford, Adjunct Professor, Central Penn College.

The students at Central Penn have a number of policies in place to help them step into the job market right after graduation, including dressing professionally for class.
