DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – The county coroner was summoned to a head on crash in South Hanover Township. It happened at about 7:11 pm at the intersection of Hershey Road(Route 39) and Robin Lane. State Police say two men were killed in the crash.
One man, driving a 1992 Chev Lumina westbound on Route 39, for unknown reasons crossed over the center dividing line directly into the path of an eastbound 2006 Honda CRV. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither driver was wearing their seat-belts. Their names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Route 39 in the area of the Giant Food Store and Turkey Hill was closed for 90 minutes.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
