YORK COUNTY, Pa. – The York County Coroner is on the scene of a fatal crash involving two vehicles. It happened just before 8 o’clock this evening at the intersection of Bacon Road and Delta Road in Chanceford Township.
Pennsylvania State Police say one vehicle was traveling north on Route 74 near Bacon Road. The driver of a southbound vehicle noticed the first vehicle weaving back and forth across the center line numerous times.
The driver stopped his car in the southbound lane to try and avoid a collision. The northbound vehicle eventually crossed over the lane, struck the embankment, became airborne, and partially landed on the passenger side of the stopped car, killing the passenger.
The passenger was a 71 year old woman from Brogue. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. The investigation into the crash continues.
