LANCASTER, Pa- A tractor-trailer crash along the Pennsylvania Turnpike Wednesday morning causing a cow to get loose along the roadway in Lancaster County.
Lancaster County 911 said the accident happened in West Cocalico Township along the 400 block of My. Gretna Road just after 9:00 a.m. The eastbound lanes have been shut down.
Officials said there were 34 cattle on the truck and one got loose.
The tractor-trailer did catch fire but crews were able to extinguish it quickly.
No word on when the lanes are expected to reopen.
