YORK TOWNSHIP, Pa. - We're following breaking news out of York County, where crews are battling a fire at an apartment complex.
Flames broke out around 1:30 A.M. Wednesday, on Queensdale Drive. We're told the fire is now under control, but firefighters are still on the scene.
According to the fire chief, at least 30 people have been displaced. He said the fire started in the bedroom of an apartment and then quickly spread to the second floor.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital with injuries.
The Red Cross is on the scene helping those who are out of their homes. Some neighbors say they've been told it could take a couple hours before they can get back into their apartments.
