CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa.– Crews are on the scene of a house fire in South Middleton Township.
The fire ignited around 8:20 a.m. in the 500 block of Zion Road.
No one was home at the time of the blaze, and the home has been deemed a total loss.
One firefighter suffered a knee injury on the second floor of the building, but did not require medical attention.
There is a dog and two cats missing from the fire, but they are assumed to have died in the blaze.
The Red Cross is on the scene and meeting with the family.
