PALMYRA, Pa., -- Early Monday morning, demolition began on three condemned duplexes in a Lebanon County neighborhood.
The homes along the 300 block of East Cherry Street were slightly destroyed by sinkholes nearly three years ago. The homes have been vacant since 2013.
According to borough officials, demolition was scheduled to begin at 7 am Monday. Officials say they hope to begin repaving the street in August. The entire project is expected to take a few months.
