East Lampeter Township Police say they’ve arrested the man responsible for a knife point robbery at the Lancaster Travel Plaza last week. Jason Jarvis, 33, of East Earl, is accused of the October 27th robbery where he donned a bandanna, displayed a knife and demanded money. Police say he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash to a vehicle where a second suspect was waiting. A similar robbery occurred in Manheim Township two hours prior to this incident. Manheim Township Police have assisted with the investigation.
Jarvis is charged with Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition. Jarvis was committed to Lancaster County Prison on the charges.
