Gov. Tom Corbett has signed the execution warrant for a man from the Poconos. Jurors in Monroe County agreed Michael Parrish should be put to death for killing his girlfriend and their 19 month-old son. In 2012, prosecutors proved Parrish shot his girlfriend, Victoria Adams, as she held their young son, Sidney. The killings happened at the couple’s home in 2009. Investigators say Parrish was convinced Adams was cheating on him and that’s why he shot her.
