RED LION, YORK COUNTY - Folks braved the heat for the 40th Annual Red Lion Street Fair, Saturday.
Over 150 vendors lined the streets with arts, crafts, and delicious fair food.
Organizers say the yearly event is usually packed with people.
However, Saturday's weather led to a more subtle turn out.
Event coordinator, Carol Leas says, "It's wonderfully attended, I have a feeling the heat affected us today. Normally, between 10:00am or 11:00am, it starts getting loaded with people and goes until the end but we just didn't have that today, I'm sure because of the heat."
The Red Lion Street Fair is always held on the 2nd Saturday in August.
Hopefully next year, it will be a bit cooler!
