Gun rights advocates took to the State Capitol in Harrisburg Sunday to stand up for their second amendment rights. Gun Rights Across America, a volunteer organization made up of gun owners and gun rights advocates rallied on the capitol steps. Members of the group say they want to stand up for their constitutional rights to keep and bear arms.
Eric Patroni, Gun Rights Across America State Coordinator says, “I think gun owning citizens are not the problem or what the base of the root of the gun problem is. It’s people who don’t own guns legitimately who are the ones that are causing all of us legitimate gun owners the hard ache and the aggravation of having to fight for our right keep and bear our arms.”
The group holds rallies all over the country to fight for their second amendment rights. Speaker’s at Sunday’s event included Kim Stolfer, the c-founder and chairman of the Firearms Owners Against Crime committee and retired United States Army Sergeant, Robert Mansfield.
