ELIZABETHVILLE, Pa- A Halifax man is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl at a pool in Dauphin County.
Broc S. Ferguson, 20, is charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years of age, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault. He was arrested on Monday and taken to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
According to court documents, a man called Lykens State Police on July 20 to report that his daughter had told him that a 12-year-old girl had been having sex with Ferguson in the Elizabethville Pool and Park area.
Police found the victim and during an interview she said that she had in fact had sex with Ferguson.
Ferguson was interviewed by police on July 20th and admitted to having sex with the girl, court documents state.
A preliminary hearing has been set for August 4th.
