HARRISBURG- There’s a hatch! According to a Twitter account that sends out information on Peregrine Falcons in Harrisburg, there’s a new falcon in town.
Earlier today the account sent out a tweet about a crack in the egg, and at 4:40pm the big news was announced.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection relaunched its live 24-hour-a-day webcast of a nesting pair of peregrine falcons in February.
The nest has a live web cam from atop the Rachel Carson State Office Building.
After the bad news this year with the Hanover Bald Eagle cam losing one eaglet, and the second egg not hatching, everyone can use some good news with this new birth.
