HARRISBURG, Pa. – Police have an arrest warrant for a Harrisburg woman who allegedly attempted to kill a Life Team EMS who had responded to a domestic assault call at a Hall Manor apartment. The incident began at about 10:38 pm Wednesday at 17 I Hall Manor.
Life Team EMS personnel arrived at the apartment before police. While they were attempting to contact and treat the victim, a 68 year old man, they were confronted by Juanee D. Crawford.
Holding a knife in her hand, Crawford screamed at EMS Personnel “I’m going to kill you”. She then lunged at a male EMS stabbing him in the chest and slashing at him near the waist. Fortunately he was wearing a vest with a metal trauma plate. The blade of the knife did not penetrate the vest. Crawford continued slashing at him causing damage to a radio holder and belt.
The EMS was not injured and was able to fight Crawford off. She ran away prior to police arriving on the scene.
A warrant has been obtained charging Crawford with Criminal Attempt Homicide. Police say she should be considered dangerous.
