LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – East Lampeter Township Police are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel guest Wednesday night. Police responded at about 9:17 pm. to the hotel in the 2100 block of Lincoln Highway East.
A 54 year old Flushing, New York woman said that she responded to a knock at her hotel room door. When she opened the door a black male forced his way into the room. The victim said that the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then fled with an undetermined amount of cash. The victim was not injured.
The initial investigation indicates that the victim was targeted and that the incident was not random. Police released several hotel security photos of the suspect. He is as a black male, between 20-30 years old, about 6 feet tall, with a thin build.
