LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – Ephrata Police responded to an incident of shots fired at 12:23 pm Monday in the 200 block of Church Avenue, in Ephrata. Two men allegedly exchanged punches during an altercation.
As one man walked away, the other fired one shot from a handgun at him. The shooter then fled the scene in a vehicle. No one was injured. Witnesses identified the suspect as Omar A. Colon, Jr., 26, of Lancaster. An arrest warrant was obtained for Colon charging him with Aggravated Assault.
Investigators say Colon has connections in Ephrata and Lancaster City. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Colon is asked to call the Ephrata Police at (717) 733-8611
