LANCASTER, Pa. – A Lancaster City street shooting suspect is arrested in Allentown.  Members of the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force and local police took Julius Robert Craig, 18, into custody without incident at 5:30 this morning at a home in Allentown.

Craig was wanted in a September 14 shooting in the 500 block of East King Street.  Police responded at about 7:05 on that date for a report of a fight.  As police arrived on the scene there were reports of numerous shots fired.  Officers discovered a 17 year old juvenile suffering from a single gunshot to the torso.

Witnesses along the busy street, reported seeing a black male dressed in all black, pulled a pistol from his waistband and shoot the victim at close range. Those witnesses also positively identified Craig as the shooter.

Charges against Craig include Criminal Attempt to Commit Homicide, Persons Not to Possess Firearms, and Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License.
