LITITZ, Pa.-- Red, white and blue filled Lititz Springs Park in Lititz, Lancaster County on Saturday for the Annual 4th of July Festival. This year marks the 199th year for the event, which includes a baby parade, Queen of Candles Pageant and a variety of entertainment. Chairman of the event, Tim Reedy says,

"Everybody really takes ownership of this event. You can imagine if you're spending almost 200-years celebrating, you really try to make it a family oriented event during the day and then at night, a little more adult entertainment for the family and then of course, the grandaddy of them all so to speak, is the fireworks."

Samantha Shields was crowned the 2016 Queen of Candles.

Admission to the celebration was $12.00 and all money raised will go toward the upkeep and maintenance of Lititz Springs Park and the town's memorial square.
