LA CASTER COUNTY, Pa. – A Leola woman is charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police after she failed to stop following a traffic signal violation. It happened at about 9:47 p.m. on Sunday, November 6 in East Lampeter Township.
Diana T. Cruceru, 24 driving a grey Honda Civic failed to stop for police and accelerated recklessly through a residential neighborhood before skidding through an intersection and colliding into a fence on N. Maple Avenue. Cruceru jumped out of her disabled vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. She was quickly taken into custody along E. Main Street without further incident.
She was transported to the Lancaster County Prison for arraignment.
