LITTLESTOWN, Pa. -- Police are asking for the public's help in order to identify a suspected bank robber in Adams County that may be responsible for other robberies in the area.
It happened Tuesday afternoon at the PNC Bank in Littlestown. The man entered the bank and demanded money from bank tellers around 3:15 p.m. The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen driving away in an orange vehicle with a black driver's side door and a white front bumper. Investigators said the getaway vehicle is very distinctive and they hope someone recognizes it.
Police believe the same man could be responsible for robbing the Susquehanna Bank in Ephrata on Wednesday. The robber is described as a white male, in his mid-30s and approximately 5-feet 8 inches to 5-feet 10-inches tall. He was last seen wearing sunglasses and a black Steelers sweatshirt.
