QUARRYVILLE, Pa.–Solanco High School was on lockdown on Tuesday morning after a bullet was found outside the school, according to a statement posted on the school district’s website.
The lockdown has since been lifted. Pennsylvania State Police swept the school, located along the 500 block of Solanco Road in Quarryville, after a student found a bullet in the grass outside the building.
Police conducted a search and then gave the “all clear” for classes to resume and the lockdown to be lifted. The lockdown lasted roughly one-hour and 45 minutes.
